Romantic place
One of the most beautiful and romantic spots in Rotterdam is the Veerhaven, where historic sailing ships gently bob on the water. Sailing barges and yachts also find a (temporary) home here. It is a magnet for couples in love and bridal couples, who like to have themselves immortalized by a photographer against this picturesque background.
The Veerhaven is located in the Scheepvaartkwartier, where stately mansions on classic lanes bring Rotterdam’s rich shipping past to life. Around the Veerhaven you will find various restaurants and terraces, such as Loos and Zinc. The Veerhaven has a jetty for the Watertaxi and the Hotel New York Veerdienst.
