On the shores of the Kralingse Lake (Kralingse Plas) with a view of the Rotterdam skyline, you will find a historic mill complex consisting of two snuff and spice windmills (De Lelie and De Ster), the former owner’s house, the miller’s house and a small factory.
The entrance is at Molen De Ster, which is partly furnished as a museum, but where you can also see how they grind various herbs and spices. Windmills De Ster and De Lelie are open every Wednesday and every second Saturday of the month from 10:00 to 16:00. Entry is free. You can also visit the windmills with a group by appointment.
There are two heritage lodging studios in The Millers’ House, where you can enjoy a lovely overnight stay in this historic place.
